Product Description

Fabric & Body: The Pure Bandhej Khaddi Georgette Saree features an all-over Banarasi bandhej-inspired pattern with gold zari square motifs. Each square is filled with detailed floral weaving in shades of orange, pink, and green, giving the saree a rich and colourful look. The deep red base is dotted with small bandhej-style butis, adding texture and brightness throughout. The overall effect is traditional, festive, and visually very striking.

Border: The border showcases a rich golden zari weave featuring traditional paisley and floral motifs. Accents of pink, orange, and green add vibrancy to the design, making it stand out beautifully against the deep red, pink fabric. The detailing is intricate yet balanced, giving the saree a regal and festive finish.

Pallu: The pallu is richly adorned with large circular floral motifs woven in golden zari, highlighted with vibrant shades of pink, orange, and green. These motifs sit beautifully across the pink, red base, giving the pallu a grand and festive look. The sides are finished with an ornate paisley and floral zari border, adding depth and richness to the drape. The overall effect is luxurious, traditional, and perfect for special occasions.

Blouse: The blouse comes in a matching deep pink shade with subtle bandhej-style buti work spread across the fabric, giving it a soft and traditional look. It is finished with an intricate golden zari border featuring paisley and floral motifs, perfectly matching the saree’s detailing. The combination of delicate butis and rich zari makes the blouse both graceful and festive.

Reverse Weave: Handloom weave with pure tested zari.

Our Delivery & Exchange Guide

At Hikayat Banaras, many of our textiles are handcrafted and carefully curated. Because of the nature of such pieces, returns are generally not possible.

However, in the rare case that you receive a wrong or damaged product, our team will be happy to assist you.

• The concern must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery

• A full, uncut unboxing video showing the sealed parcel and product is required

• Approved cases are resolved through exchange or a store credit note

Please note that cancellations are not possible once an order is placed, including for ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.

As these are handcrafted textiles, slight colour variations and minor weaving irregularities may occur, which are natural characteristics of handloom fabrics.

By default, tassels are added to the dupatta for a finished look.
If you prefer the dupatta without tassels, please inform us on the provided WhatsApp number while placing your order.

For complete details, please scroll to the footer and read our full Return & Cancellation Policy.

Disclaimer & Measurements

Please note, Each saree is handwoven, which means it comes with its own little quirks—making every piece truly one of a kind.

And just like photos never look the same on every phone, colors may appear slightly different on screen than in real life.

These aren’t flaws, but the charm of handloom. For absolute clarity, feel free to reach out for a video call.
