At Hikayat Banaras, every piece is crafted and shipped with utmost care. We are committed to delivering handcrafted textiles that meet the standards of quality we promise. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.

🔄 Returns

We do not accept returns unless:

  • The product delivered is wrong, or

  • The product is damaged in transit

✅ Conditions for Return:

  1. You must report the issue within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.

  2. A full and uncut unboxing video is mandatory as proof.

    • The video must clearly show the opening of the package from start to finish.

    • Send the video only on WhatsApp at +91 73078 59235.

  3. Claims without a valid unboxing video are not accepted.

  4. We reserve the right to accept or reject returns based on the condition of the returned product.

💰 Refunds / Exchanges

Refunds/Exchanges are issued only under the following conditions:

  • You have received the wrong or damaged product.

  • You have submitted a valid unboxing video.

  • The product is returned to us and passes our quality check.

Refund Process:

  • The return shipping address will be shared individually when required.

  • Once approved, the refund will be processed within 4–6 business days.

  • Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.

  • Delivery/shipping charges are non-refundable.

⚠️ Please note: We do not offer any compensation for delays, dissatisfaction, or inconvenience caused.

🚫 No Return / Refund / Exchange Situations

Refunds/ returns/ exchanges are not applicable in the following cases:

  • If you change your mind after receiving the product

  • If the product is delivered as ordered (correct & undamaged)

  • If you do not share a proper unboxing video

  • Slight color variations due to screen differences or minor weaving irregularities, which are natural to handcrafted textiles

❌ Cancellations

  • No cancellations are allowed once the order is placed.

  • This applies to both ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.

  • Since our pieces are curated and crafted specifically for each customer, we are unable to accommodate cancellation requests at any stage.

📍 Return Address

Our return address is shared with customers only when required, on a case-by-case basis.
