1. General
By accessing or placing an order through our website, WhatsApp, or Instagram, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before making a purchase.

2. Products
We sell handcrafted Banarasi sarees, suits, lehengas, and dupattas. Products may be ready-to-ship or made-to-order. Minor differences in color or weaving are natural and expected due to the handmade nature of our products.

3. Order Placement
Orders can be placed via:

  • Instagram DM

Full payment in advance is required for all orders. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

4. Payment Methods
We accept:

  • UPI

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Domestic & International)

  • Bank Transfers (Domestic & International)

GST is included in all listed prices.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Domestic delivery: 5–20 working days depending on the location [Delivery timeline can vary deepending on whether the product is ready to ship or made to order.]

  • International delivery: May take 5 additional days [Delivery timeline can vary deepending on whether the product is ready to ship or made to order.]

  • Courier partners: Blue Dart, DTDC, Shree Maruti Courier

  • International duties are not included and must be paid by the customer

Note: We are not responsible for shipping delays once the parcel is handed over to the courier.

6. Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
No return or refund unless:

  • Wrong product received

  • Damaged product received

Conditions:

  • Unboxing video is mandatory (unedited, full-length)

  • Report within 24 hours of delivery

  • Refund is processed only after we receive the returned product and it passes quality check [Refunds are processed in 2-3 days]

  • No compensation is provided for delays or dissatisfaction

Return shipping cost depends on the reason for return.

7. Product Authenticity
Our items are handcrafted. Minor irregularities in weave, texture, or color are signs of handmade craftsmanship and not defects.

8. Intellectual Property
All images, videos, and designs are owned by Hikayat Banaras.
Do not reuse, share, or modify any content without permission.
Resellers are not allowed to use our content for their own sales.

9. Privacy
We collect basic data (name, phone number, address) to process orders.
We do not use your data for marketing.
Data is only shared with:

  • Payment partners (Razorpay, Cashfree)

  • Courier services

We do not share or sell your data to any third party.
