Handwoven Bandhej Khaddi Georgette Saree
Product Description
Fabric & Body: The Handwoven Bandhej Khaddi Georgette Saree features a bright rani pink base richly woven with Shikargah style zari motifs of elephants, peacocks, and floral vines. The golden zari detailing is highlighted with touches of yellow, orange, and purple, giving the design a colourful and festive feel. Small bandhej-style dots are scattered across the fabric, adding a traditional texture. The overall look is vibrant, intricate, and full of Banarasi artistry.
Border: The border features an intricate golden zari weave with floral and leaf motifs highlighted in shades of yellow, orange, and pink. Beneath it runs a classic diamond-pattern zari strip that adds structure and richness to the design. The bright rani pink edging completes the border, making it look bold, festive, and beautifully detailed.
Pallu: The pallu is beautifully woven with large round motifs featuring elephants, peacocks, and floral designs, highlighted in shades of yellow, orange, and purple over rich golden zari. These motifs are arranged in neat rows across the bright rani pink base, giving the pallu a grand and festive look. The sides are framed with an intricate floral and diamond-pattern zari border, adding depth and richness to the overall design. The effect is vibrant, luxurious, and full of traditional Banarasi detailing.
Blouse: The blouse comes in a matching rani pink shade with subtle bandhej-style butis scattered across the fabric, giving it a soft and traditional texture. It is finished with a beautifully detailed golden zari border featuring floral and leaf motifs in pink and yellow tones. The look is festive, coordinated, and perfectly complements the saree’s overall design.
Reverse Weave: Handloom weave with pure tested zari.
Our Delivery & Exchange Guide
At Hikayat Banaras, many of our textiles are handcrafted and carefully curated. Because of the nature of such pieces, returns are generally not possible.
However, in the rare case that you receive a wrong or damaged product, our team will be happy to assist you.
• The concern must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery
• A full, uncut unboxing video showing the sealed parcel and product is required
• Approved cases are resolved through exchange or a store credit note
Please note that cancellations are not possible once an order is placed, including for ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.
As these are handcrafted textiles, slight colour variations and minor weaving irregularities may occur, which are natural characteristics of handloom fabrics.
By default, tassels are added to the dupatta for a finished look.
If you prefer the dupatta without tassels, please inform us on the provided WhatsApp number while placing your order.
