Product Description

Fabric & Body: Handloom Pure Soft Katan Silk saree is woven in a deep, elegant teal-blue tone with a soft natural sheen that enhances its richness. The fabric feels smooth and fluid, allowing the saree to drape beautifully and fall effortlessly, making it comfortable for long wear. Scattered across the body are finely woven deer motifs in contrasting zari, placed evenly to maintain balance and visual harmony. These motifs add a distinctive character to the saree, giving it an artisanal, storytelling charm while keeping the overall look refined and uncluttered.

Border: The saree is finished with a bold contrast border in a deep red tone that beautifully frames the rich teal-blue body. The border features intricately woven running deer motifs, rendered in fine zari, creating a sense of movement and storytelling along the edge. The detailing on the motifs is crisp and expressive, adding character and a distinctive artistic appeal.

Pallu: The pallu is woven in a rich, deep red base that creates a striking contrast with the teal-blue body of the saree. At the centre, it features an intricately detailed zari jaal with fine geometric patterns, adding texture, depth, and a luxurious sheen. This dense weaving gives the pallu a classic Banarasi richness while keeping the overall look balanced.

Blouse: The blouse fabric is woven in a rich deep red tone that carries a soft, lustrous finish. Scattered across the fabric are small, evenly spaced gold zari polka motifs, adding a gentle shimmer and a classic Banarasi touch without making the blouse feel heavy.

Reverse Weave: Handloom weave with pure tested zari.

Our Delivery & Exchange Guide

At Hikayat Banaras, many of our textiles are handcrafted and carefully curated. Because of the nature of such pieces, returns are generally not possible.

However, in the rare case that you receive a wrong or damaged product, our team will be happy to assist you.

• The concern must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery

• A full, uncut unboxing video showing the sealed parcel and product is required

• Approved cases are resolved through exchange or a store credit note

Please note that cancellations are not possible once an order is placed, including for ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.

As these are handcrafted textiles, slight colour variations and minor weaving irregularities may occur, which are natural characteristics of handloom fabrics.

By default, tassels are added to the dupatta for a finished look.
If you prefer the dupatta without tassels, please inform us on the provided WhatsApp number while placing your order.

Disclaimer & Measurements

Please note, Each saree is handwoven, which means it comes with its own little quirks—making every piece truly one of a kind.

And just like photos never look the same on every phone, colors may appear slightly different on screen than in real life.

These aren’t flaws, but the charm of handloom. For absolute clarity, feel free to reach out for a video call.
